A full professor of basic medical sciences whose career moves from the medical laboratory into clinical biochemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, and biomedical research, as well as Arabic poetry and calligraphy.
His research examines experimental therapeutics, oxidative stress, natural products, nanomedicine, and drug–laboratory interactions, with a long-standing interest in palm vitamin E, gastric injury, and translational biomedical science.
